The most beautiful part of a wedding is the ceremony. With family and friends and the most important people standing by your side the time has come to start a new chapter in your life. Full of emotions and happiness being nervous is common, but remember the reason why you are there as you look into the eyes of the one you love.
Ceremonies are unique and can be customize to your liking’s. From traditional ceremonies to non traditional ones, Short or long this is up to the couples. There are some events that can happen as your officiant will go over with you. Here are some popular ones ( Unity candle or pouring sand) There are many options but those are popular. Staying away from the traditional style isn’t all that bad if you like to be different. Make sure you are satisfied with every decision you make.
We will go through the process of a ceremony so you have an idea of what to expect.
During this part of the ceremony your immediate family, wedding party, and the couple walk down the isle. This can be done anyway you see it. The traditional order would look like this: grandparents, Parents, bridal party, flower girl, ring bearer best man and maid of honor, and finally the bride. In some cases the groom and groomsmen are already at the alter. Another way is having the couple walk down together as they continue their love story instead of starting their love story. However you feel is right for you is how it should be. Now while standing at the alter traditionally the groomsmen would stand behind the groom while the brides maid stands behind the bride. some couples rather the opposite so they can look at their supporters for emotional support, that way they don’t have to turn around.
Once everyone is at the alter the officiant will start by welcoming everyone to the wedding ceremony and thanking them for being present as a whiteness. The officiant will usually talk about marriage and your love story. The more details the officiant knows about the couple the better they can speak on your behalf.
If you decide to have someone read, this would be the time. Now a lot of couples think of this as religious readings, but it doesn’t have to be. It can be a poem, a spiritual speech, or even a quote that represents your relationship. Some couples ask family members or friends to read to add a sentimental meaning to the ceremony.
Also if you decide to have a unity ceremony such as candle lighting, sand ceremony, or anything other this would take place during this time.
It’s now time to say “I Do”. The legally binding part of the ceremony is the Declaration of Intent. This is when the couple verbally acknowledges that you both want to marry each other. You will then deliver your Vows. This can be done traditionally or in your own words.
While reciting your vows you will be putting the ring on your partners ring finger. Now some photographers will explain how to do this so they can capture the best photo of this moment.
You are now officially married. The officiant will announce you as newlyweds and say you can finally have your first kiss as a married couple.
The last part of the ceremony is the recessional. While everyone will be cheering the newlyweds will make their way up the isle following the wedding party in reverse order. The officiant will say their closing remarks and give your guests instructions so they can make their way to cocktail hour.
Each event will have special music that sets the mood. our couples pick the songs they want. We can help with our expert knowledge if need be. These songs should be special. While most should be slow and meaningful. The recessional song can be a little up beat. After all it’s official that you are married and are excited and happy. We have plenty of song suggestions to choose from if you don’t have one in mind.
We offer wireless Lav mics for your officiant and our couples if needed. We can also use one mic on a stand but we feel that would be an eye sore for your photographer. so using our Lav mics they can be hidden and you can have the perfect photos. If you have any readers we can set up a mic on a stand for them.
