Planning a wedding can be a stressful and never ending process, but it can also be fun. We like to ask some questions to see who forgot things like where was your first kiss? It also gives us a better understanding to your love story. You would be surprised how many songs can have an impact on a time of your life and with the right knowledge it can be a subliminal message. This section will inform you of the process of planning your wedding. Some of these you may already done and that’s great. These will inform you of our process and what to expect as well as others outside of entertainment.
After contacting us and setting up the initial meeting we will be putting together everything for you so we can go over everything. We let you decide on the location usually a public place like Panera Bread , Duncan Donuts , or any other establishment. At the meeting we will go over all the details of your special day. Now you probably won’t have all the answers or everything thought out and that’s ok. This is just to see what is already planned and what’s not As well as explaining what we can do for you. Usually this meeting is about 30 minutes to an hour.
After you have decided Drox Entertainment is the right fit for you, you will need to have the contract signed and turned in with the Non - Refundable Deposit. We will then start the planning process. while you are planning and getting things checked off the list we are working on your timeline. Depending how far In advance you book us you may not have all the information for us And that’s ok. It’s a lot to think about. Between names of your bridal party , what venue , what style/flavor cake, it gets stressful. Communication is our top concern so we can make sure everything goes perfectly smooth the day of. we will plan for another meeting so we can fill in the blanks.
At this meeting we will go over everything that is missing making sure everything is crossed off your list. Sometimes the music is the hardest part for some to come up with. I tell them to think back when you first started dating. Write down those songs you both liked. Was there a song playing when you had your first kiss or a major event in your relationship? Write each of your favorite songs and so on. If you still need time that’s perfectly fine as long as we get the list a month before.
We also make sure the names are pronounced right, Specialty songs are correct and your timeline is right.
During the time leading up to your wedding day we will be making sure everything is correct. If you want another meeting we can plan that.
We like this to be not more than a month prior to your wedding day. In this meeting we will go through the timeline and make sure every detail is correct. If there is any changes we will make them. We realize things change so make sure we can correct them on our end to avoid issues. Sometimes there is a game day decision that needs to be change. As long as we are informed everything will go smoothly. We expect all boxes checked off and to have everything complete at the end of this meeting. Once complete we will finalize everything and have it all ready.
Its finally here! We show up 3 hours before time and set up Making sure everything sounds good. If you need to make any changes please contact us or confront your DJ. We can provide copies of the timeline to other vendors who want it. Most of the vendors will ask the DJ what time events will be. We are here to provide them with that information. Most of all enjoy your day it goes by quick.
